Built in February 2004 and showing 62,412 kilometres, this JDM import Evo VIII MR has been with its current owner since July 2025 and has had only three owners from new, including the Japanese owner. 

​

The Evo VIII MR was Mitsubishi's ultimate expression of the platform - lightweight aluminium roof, bonnet and front guards, aluminium door intrusion bars, lightweight glass, intercooler water spray, and a close-ratio six-speed gearbox as standard. This example retains its matching-numbers 4G63 engine and transmission and has been thoughtfully club-prepared while remaining fully road-registered.

Maintenance has been fastidious throughout. On acquisition at 47,718 kms the current owner replaced the timing belt, balance shaft and drive belts, fitted a new Walbro 255 fuel pump, all new idler belt pulleys, serviced injectors, new spark plugs and a Ralliart ECU. A Mitsubishi Takata airbag recall was completed in March 2019. Since then, Perth Evo-specialists have serviced all fluids - engine, gearbox, transfer, differentials, coolant and brakes - at an average of every 1,500 kms, using premium lubricants throughout.
