One of the rarest and lowest number built Mini's to own!

This Mini Morris Cooper is an attractive classic city car, finished in a timeless colour combination. It was originally delivered to So in 1964, and as a Cooper model, its Australian built high compression 998cc 'A-Series' inline-four was fitted with the desirable dual SU carburetors.  The Mini Cooper had a limited run in 1964 before the 1275 was released, which makes it quite rare.

 

The Cooper's complete history is impeccable and a matching numbers Cooper is rare in itself as engines and chassis were so often exchanged.

 

The vehicle is finished in British Racing Green with a Toga White roof and bonnet stripes, as well as chrome wing mirrors and bumpers. The cabin is trimmed in grey leather with matching grey door cards and carpets.  It rides on a set of black 10 inch Minilite-style wheels and a polished lip, shod with Dunlop SP sport tyres.

 

Service History:

The vehicle was last serviced by Cecchele Motors who replaced the radiator, thermostat and housing, tie bar rubber, washer and starter motor.

Other work carried out during the sellers two-year ownership includes balancing the carburetor, adjusting the idle and air-fuel mixture.

 

Accompanying the sale is the owner's manual, original radiator and a history folder containing numerous invoices.
